"Lady Love" was the highest-ranking single cut from Lou Rawls's 1977 album When You Hear Lou, You've Heard It All.
"Lady Love" was written by Von Gray and Marshall Sherman[1]. It was released as a single in January 1978 and peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also rose to #21 on the R&B charts. The song is an airplay staple today on adult standards and smooth jazz radio stations.
"Lady Love" is also a song by former Procol Harum guitarist Robin Trower, in his 1975 album Bridge of Sighs. A live version also appears on his live album Robin Trower Live recorded in Stockholm in 1975.
